Rising Star Commendations 2018

Congratulations to each of the following young athletes for being nominated for a Sport Newcastle Rising Star award. There were 40 nominations.

We know sporting success does not come easily. To achieve such high levels of performance requires dedication, hard work and determination. To be nominated by a teacher or coach shows just how highly these individuals are rated.

Their success is also a credit to the support provided by their family, coaches and teachers, so we would like to congratulate them too.

We wish everyone on this list every success in your chosen sport and hope that many of you are nominated again in the future when you’ve gone that step further along your sporting journey.
