Spring 2017 update on our Sport Scholars

Our 3 sports scholars have been busy getting ready for the sporting year ahead. Calum Johnson, triathlete, has been concentrating on cross-country over the winter. In his first ever senior national cross country event he came a creditable 12th beating many more experienced runners. Not bad for a triathlete! A bike crash in March set Calum back a little but he's now back in full training and looking forward to his first major triathlon of the year at the European Cup in Portugal. Emily hasn't had much rest since Christmas. She trained intensively for the Pro Am Grand Prix series in Indianapolis in March where she managed to get into 2 'A' finals (the 400m individual medley and 200m butterfly)
