Taekwondo Gold for Laura
Congratulations to Laura Burtle from Newcastle Black Belt Academy who recently won a gold medal at the European Championships.
Last year, Gosforth Academy student, Laura was awarded a bronze award grant from Sport Newcastle and she's obviously put the money to good use.
Tony McKenna, her coach was very impressed with Laura's performance and said that he has high hopes for her at next year's World Championships in Finland.
