Welcome to Ellen, our new sport scholar.

Swimmer, Ellen Stephenson is our newest platinum funded Sport Scholar.

Since receiving her Rising Star award in March 2017, Ellen has surpassed all expectations. She is now the holder of 11 short course junior mosaic Down Syndrome world records, 1 open mosaic record and 3 long course junior world records. Pretty impressive for someone who is only 13 years old!

November 2017 saw Ellen become the European female mosaic champion in Paris (see picture). In December she won an age group gold medal in the 200m individual medley at the national para-swimming championships in Manchester, along with a silver and 4 bronze medals, all in the S14 class.

Ellen's next stop is Canada in July to compete in the world Down Syndrome championships.
