Danny Horta - 2017 Rising Star

Basketball is usually represented among our Rising Stars which is a reflection on the great development work going on at Newcastle Eagles.

In fact our next award winner has worked his way along the Eagles performance pathway right up to the first team where he’s starting to get more regular court time and making an appearance on the scoreboard.

Northumbria University have played an important role in this 20-year-old’s sporting education as he looks to forge a professional career. Congratulations to DANNY HORTA
