Tier One support for Covid Emergency Fund

Sport Newcastle has received a welcome boost from local wealth management and property lending experts, Tier One Capital Ltd, which helped fund its annual charity golf day at Matfen Hall, Northumberland.

Ian McElroy, Chief Executive, Tier One Capital, said, “COVID-19 has hit sports clubs, individuals and organisations hard and we are pleased to be given the opportunity to contribute to this excellent charity by helping to fund the golf day.

“Sport Newcastle has an excellent reputation of developing outstanding young talent in the region and has helped create some incredible support and achievements for grass-roots sport over the years.

We are extremely proud of our partnership with Sport Newcastle and feel privileged that we are able to help support our younger generation through sport in the region.”

Thanks go to everyone who took part in the golf day, but especially to Tier One Capital, who share our ideals of supporting young people and sport in the community. This year they have donated over £3,500 to Sport Newcastle, every penny of which will be used to help local sports clubs support young people get through this pandemic.
