Fenham A.B.C. get equipped for restart

Fenham Amateur Boxing Club used their Covid Fund grant from Sport Newcastle to buy several pieces of new equipment. Pictured next to their new punch bag are James (red hoodie) and Vaughn. Both were delighted to see the new equipment in place at their gym on Two Ball Lonnen. Coach, Lee Rogan, was pleased to welcome new members and regulars after 14 weeks of closure due to the third lockdown. Vaughn said that he had missed being able to train and felt especially pleased that the younger boxers could now get back to regular training sessions. James mentioned that he is keen to pursue his coaching awards which hasn't been possible during lockdown. Let's hope that all young boxers manage to get full use of all the new equipment from now on.
