Sporting Success of the Year Award - Mark Wilson

Mark Wilson has been awarded the Sporting Success of the Year Award. He’s a professional rugby union player for Newcastle Falcons, who joined the Falcons Academy at 14 years old. Mark made his debut for the Falcons first team back in 2010 and within 4 years he was voted the clubs player of the year. Two years later Mark was recognised at full international level when he played against Argentina on tour. Last year in 2018 he got his chance in the autumn internationals, in the opening match against South Africa he was awarded man of the match. Mark is now a regular England player with the world cup in sight, also he has signed a new four-year contract at Kingston Park for the Falcon’s.
