Sport Newcastle Rising Star 2019- Megan Cottee

Megan Cottee is a 16-year-old hockey player, currently studying at Newcastle Royal Grammar School. Since the age of 13 Megan has played hockey for Morpth Ladies first team. Also competing in the futures cup which is made up with the country’s best girls divided into four regional teams. If Megan’s to impress during these games, it could lead to being selected for the England squad. Last August she was lucky enough to play for England Under 16's against Germany and Belgium.

The 2019 Rising Star Awards were sponsored by North East based SOS Group, an independent leader in providing organisations across the UK and abroad with printers, copiers, MFDs, Document Management Solutions and support services.
