Sport Newcastle Rising Star 2019- Daniel Dixon

Daniel Dixon is a 16-year-old competing in the Triathlon, when biking he’s based at Gosforth Road club but runs for Morpeth Harriers. He is already training with the British Junior squad and is British Youth duathlon champion having represented Great Britain six times last year. Daniel competes against competitors who are three years older than him and is currently fourth junior male in Europe. He has an immense training workload when it comes to training for three sports.

The 2019 Rising Star Awards were sponsored by North East based SOS Group, an independent leader in providing organisations across the UK and abroad with printers, copiers, MFDs, Document Management Solutions and support services.
