April Awards to Athletes

Bids from 17 young athletes totaling £8,000 were received in the April round of grant requests.

Ten bids were successful with the result that in total £3,500 was awarded to:

5 swimmers, 2 runners, 1 fencer, 1 cyclist and 1 gymnast.

4 of the 10 successful awards went to 2017 Rising Stars, who each received grants of £500.

The next round of grant requests will be considered in July - applications should be received no later than 30th June 2018.
