Sarah fights in Europe

It's been a busy 4 months for new scholar, fencer Sarah Harvey, in her first season on the Junior (u20) Great Britain team. Sarah's first competition result in Germany in a junior world cup event proved disappointing, but she learnt quickly from the experience. At her next competition in Luxembourg Sarah won 4 out of 6 poule fights before losing in the knock out round. In her last event of the year in Spain, Sarah again performed well in the early stages before losing a close encounter in the elimination round.

Success in the Senior Welsh Open, achieving a top 10 junior G.B. ranking, and successfully representing Scotland in the 2017 Seniors Five Nations has put Sarah in a strong position for selection to the Scotland junior and senior Commonwealth Fencing teams.
