Grant Funding Applications

Individuals who want to apply for grants should do so through their clubs. The revised form for individuals needs to be completed by your club and must include a reference from a club official. It is essential that every section of the application form is completed. Failure to do so will make your application invalid.

Sport Newcastle are aware that many families and sports clubs are struggling with the increase in the cost of living. This is why we have created a 'hardship fund' for individual grants and are prepared to subsidise clubs/organisations with membership/subscription costs. Applications to this fund from individuals must also come through your club/organisation. The maximum award to an individual from this fund is £250 whilst the usual limit of £1000 applies to clubs/organisations.

Our Grants Committee meets 4 times per year to consider the grant applications received in each quarter.
