Newcastle United Women's football Club appoint new Head Coach

Newcastle United Women’s football Club are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Mark Brooksbank as the clubs new Head Coach.

Mark, who takes up his new position with immediate effect said, “I am extremely honoured and excited to be offered this prestigious position as Head Coach of Newcastle United Women’s FC. I can not wait to get started and help the club achieve its full potential. I look forward to meeting my staff and players. These are exciting times for the club and preparation for this fast approaching season has already started. Nothing great was ever achieved with out hard work and this challenge will be no different.”

Mark is a UEFA B licence holder and has completed his UEFA A Licence Preparatory Course. He has many years coaching and management experience working with several leading female teams including the Army Women’s Representative Team, Millwall Lionesses, Crystal Palace Ladies and Sunderland Ladies. Mark has also coached at AFC Wimbledon and at several girls Centre of Excellence including, Brighton and Hove Albion Girls, Leyton Orient Girls, Middlesbrough Girls, West Ridding FA Girls and York Girls. He was also 1st Team Coach and U18s Manager at Kingstonian FC.
